حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ (٢) ، قَالَ:، ، قَالَ أَبُو أَيُّوبَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَرْبَعٌ مِنْ سُنَنِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ: التَّعَطُّرُ، وَالنِّكَاحُ، وَالسِّوَاكُ، وَالْحَيَاءُ " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Four things are the practices of all the prophets: applying perfume, marriage, using the miswak, and applying henna.
