حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ ابْنُ أَخِي أَنَسٍ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: مَا نَدْرِي كَيْفَ نَصْنَعُ بِكَرَايِيسِ مِصْرَ وَقَدْ نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ وَنَسْتَدْبِرَهُمَا، وقَالَ هَمَّامٌ: " يَعْنِي الْغَائِطَ (٢) وَالْبَوْلَ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) once said in Egypt, "By Allah, I do not understand how to use the toilets here, because the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said that when any of you goes to relieve himself, he should neither face the Qiblah nor turn his back towards it."
