Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ ضَمْضَمِ بْنِ زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا رُهْمٍ السَّمَعِيَّ كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ، أَنَّ أَبَا أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ، ، كُلَّ صَلَاةٍ تَحُطُّ مَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا مِنْ خَطِيئَةٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Every prayer wipes out the sins that came before it.
