حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حُيَيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمَعَافِرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيِّ قَالَ: كُنَّا فِي الْبَحْرِ وَعَلَيْنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ قَيْسٍ الْفَزَارِيُّ وَمَعَنَا أَبُو، ، أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، فَمَرَّ بِصَاحِبِ الْمَقَاسِمِ وَقَدْ أَقَامَ السَّبْيَ، فَإِذَا امْرَأَةٌ تَبْكِي، فَقَالَ: مَا شَأْنُ هَذِهِ؟ قَالُوا: فَرَّقُوا بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ وَلَدِهَا، قَالَ: فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِ وَلَدِهَا حَتَّى وَضَعَهُ فِي يَدِهَا، فَانْطَلَقَ صَاحِبُ الْمَقَاسِمِ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ فَأَخْبَرَهُ، فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى أَبِي أَيُّوبَ فَقَالَ: مَا حَمَلَكَ عَلَى مَا صَنَعْتَ؟ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ فَرَّقَ بَيْنَ وَالِدَةٍ وَوَلَدِهَا فَرَّقَ اللهُ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْأَحِبَّةِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
Abu Abdur Rahman Hubli (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once we were traveling by sea, and our leader was Abdullah bin Qais Khazari. With us was Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him). Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by the distributor, who had made the captives stand on one side, among whom was a woman who was crying. Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) asked, "What is the matter with this woman?" People informed him that she had been separated from her son. Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) took the hand of her son and placed it in the woman's hand. Seeing this, the distributor went to Abdullah bin Qais Fuzari and informed him of the matter. Abdullah sent a messenger to Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) to ask why he had done this. He replied, "I heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) say: Whoever separates a mother from her child, Allah will separate him from his loved ones on the Day of Resurrection."
