English translation
It is narrated from Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the presence of the Prophet and said, "Give me some brief advice." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When you stand to perform your prayer, pray as if you are offering the prayer of farewell. Do not utter anything from your mouth for which you would have to apologize tomorrow, and remove your hopes from what people possess."
