حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الشَّبَامِيُّ (٢) ، عَنْ أَبِي قَيْسٍ ـ قَالَ عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ: أُرَاهُ عَنْ هُزَيْلٍ ـ قَالَ: قَامَ حُذَيْفَةُ خَطِيبًا فِي دَارِ عَامِرِ (٣) بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ فِيهَا التَّمِيمِيُّ،، ، وَالْمُضَرِيُّ فَقَالَ: " لَيَأْتِيَنَّ عَلَى مُضَرَ يَوْمٌ لَا يَدَعُونَ لِلَّهِ عَبْدًا يَعْبُدُهُ إِلَّا قَتَلُوهُ، أَوْ لَيُضْرَبَنَّ ضَرْبًا لَا يَمْنَعُونَ ذَنَبَ تَلْعَةٍ، أَوْ أَسْفَلَ تَلْعَةٍ "، فَقِيلَ: يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ، تَقُولُ هَذَا لِقَوْمِكَ، أَوْ لِقَوْمٍ أَنْتَ ـ يَعْنِي مِنْهُمْ؟ قَالَ: لَا أَقُولُ ـ يَعْنِي ـ إِلَّا مَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the tribe of Mudar will not leave on earth any righteous servant of Allah without putting him into trial and destroying him, until Allah will impose upon them an army of His that will humiliate them, and not even the side of a mound will be able to save them. A man said to him, "Servant of Allah! You are saying this even though you yourself belong to the tribe of Mudar?" He replied, "I am only saying what the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) has said."
