حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ مَوْلًى لِرِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ: كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: " إِنِّي لَسْتُ، ، أَدْرِي مَا قَدْرُ بَقَائِي فِيكُمْ، فَاقْتَدُوا بِاللَّذَيْنِ مِنْ بَعْدِي ـ وَأَشَارَ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ ـ قَالَ: وَمَا حَدَّثَكُمْ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فَصَدِّقُوهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were sitting with the Noble Prophet (ﷺ). The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: I do not know how long I will remain among you, so follow the two men who will be after me, and he pointed towards Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and hold firmly to the way of Ammar, and whatever Ibn Mas'ud tells you, affirm it.
