حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ وَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جُمَيْعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَبَلَغَهُ عَنِ الْمَاءِ قِلَّةٌ، فَقَالَ: " لَا يَسْبِقْنِي إِلَى الْمَاءِ أَحَدٌ " (٥)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, during a time of intense heat, the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) set out and told the people that there was very little water, so no one should reach that place before me.
