حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ (١) ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي الدَّجَّالِ: " إِنَّ مَعَهُ مَاءً وَنَارًا، فَنَارُهُ مَاءٌ بَارِدٌ، وَمَاؤُهُ نَارٌ، فَلَا تَهْلِكُوا "، قَالَ أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ: وَأَنَا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: When the Dajjal appears, he will have with him water and fire. What will appear to people as fire will actually be cool water, and what will appear as water will actually be burning fire. Therefore, do not be destroyed. Upon hearing this hadith, Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I have heard this hadith from the Holy Prophet (ﷺ).
