حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ قَالَ: كُنْتُ فِي جِنَازَةِ حُذَيْفَةَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ: سَمِعْتُ هَذَا يَقُولُ ـ يَعْنِي حُذَيْفَةَ ـ يَقُولُ: مَا بِي بَأْسٌ فِيمَا سَمِعْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " وَلَئِنْ اقْتَتَلْتُمْ (١) لَأَنْظُرَنَّ أَقْصَى بَيْتٍ مٍنْ دَارِي فَلَأَدْخُلَنَّهُ، فَلَئِنْ دُخِلَ عَلَيَّ لَأَقُولَنَّ: هَا، بُؤْ بِإِثْمِي وَإِثْمِكَ، أَوْ بِذَنْبِي وَذَنْبِكَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Rubay’ (rah) says that I heard a man at the funeral of Hudhayfah (ra) saying: I heard from this person while he was lying on the bier that I heard this hadith from the Noble Prophet (ﷺ): I do not feel any hesitation that if you people start fighting, I will enter my house; and if anyone comes into my house, I will say to him: Come and return taking my sin and your own sin.
