حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، وَعَفَّانُ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ الْبَتِّيِّ، عَنْ نُعَيْمٍ ـ قَالَ عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ ـ ابْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ: أَسْنَدْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى صَدْرِي فَقَالَ: " مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ ـ قَالَ حَسَنٌ: ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ اللهِ ـ خُتِمَ لَهُ بِهَا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ، وَمَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ اللهِ خُتِمَ لَهُ بِهَا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ، وَمَنْ تَصَدَّقَ بِصَدَقَةٍ ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ اللهِ خُتِمَ لَهُ بِهَا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I had made my chest a pillow for the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), when the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever (for the pleasure of Allah) affirms "La ilaha illallah" and his life ends upon this affirmation, he will enter Paradise. And whoever fasts for one day for the pleasure of Allah and his end comes upon this, he will also enter Paradise. And whoever gives charity for the pleasure of Allah and his end comes upon this, he will also enter Paradise.
