Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، وَخَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي (٣) زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الدُّؤَلِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ أَخُو حُذَيْفَةَ، قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا حَزَبَهُ أَمْرٌ صَلَّى " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) was faced with any distressing matter, he would perform prayer.
