Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ ـ وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ هَارُونَ ـ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ شُعَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ مَوْلَى شُرَحْبِيلَ ابْنِ حَسَنَةَ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ، وَحُذَيْفَةَ بْنَ الْيَمَانِ يَقُولَانِ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " حِلٌّ (٣) مَا رَدَّتْ عَلَيْكَ قَوْسُكَ " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hudhaifah bin Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Eat whatever your arrow hunts and brings to you.
