حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا رَزِينُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ الْجُهَنِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الرُّقَادِ الْعَبْسِيِّ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ: " إِنْ كَانَ الرَّجُلُ لَيَتَكَلَّمُ بِالْكَلِمَةِ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَيَصِيرُ بِهَا مُنَافِقًا، وَإِنِّي لَأَسْمَعُهَا مِنْ أَحَدِكُمُ الْيَوْمَ فِي الْمَجْلِسِ عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) that in the blessed era of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ), sometimes a person would utter a sentence and because of it would become a hypocrite, and now in a single gathering I hear dozens of such words daily.
