حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ شَيْخٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ: هِلَالٌ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى مَسْحِ الْحَصَى، فَقَالَ: " وَاحِدَةً، أَوْ دَعْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that I have asked the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) about everything, even about leveling pebbles during prayer. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Level it once, otherwise leave it.
