حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: " صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ بِذِي قَرَدٍ، أَرْضٍ مِنْ أَرْضِ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ، فَصَفَّ النَّاسُ خَلْفَهُ صَفَّيْنِ صَفًّا يُوَازِي الْعَدُوَّ، وَصَفًّا خَلْفَهُ، فَصَلَّى بِالصَّفِّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ رَكْعَةً، ثُمَّ نَكَصَ هَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ هَؤُلَاءِ، وَهَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ هَؤُلَاءِ، فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً أُخْرَى "، (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led the prayer of fear in a region of Banu Sulaym called "Dhi Qarad." The people formed two rows behind the Noble Prophet (ﷺ): one row stood facing the enemy, and the other row stood behind the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) for prayer. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) led this group in one rak'ah, then these people walked backwards to the place of those who were standing in front of the enemy, and those people came and stood behind the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) in their place. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) then led them in the second rak'ah.
