حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ مُهَاجِرٍ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: خَرَجْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَمَرَّ بِرَجُلٍ يَقْرَأُ: قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ، فَقَالَ: " أَمَّا هَذَا، فَقَدْ بَرِئَ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ "، قَالَ: وَإِذَا آخَرُ يَقْرَأُ: قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " بِهَا وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from a Sheikh "who met the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)" that once I set out on a journey with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) passed by a man who was reciting Surah Al-Kafirun. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "He has become free from shirk." Then he saw another man who was reciting Surah Al-Ikhlas. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Because of its blessing, Paradise has become obligatory for him."
