حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ (١) ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّبٍ، عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ: " إِنَّ مِنْكُمْ رِجَالًا لَا أُعْطِيهِمْ شَيْئًا، أَكِلُهُمْ إِلَى إِيمَانِهِمْ مِنْهُمْ "، فُرَاتُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ قَالَ: مِنْ بَنِي عِجْلٍ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from a companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said to his companions (may Allah be pleased with them): "There are some among you to whom I do not give anything, rather I entrust them to their faith. Among them is Furat bin Hayyan; he belonged to Banu ‘Ajl."
