حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ،، ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ: " اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ، وَعَلَى أَزْوَاجِهِ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ، وَبَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ، وَعَلَى أَزْوَاجِهِ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ "، قَالَ ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ: وَكَانَ أَبِي يَقُولُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) used to say: O Allah! Send Your mercy upon Muhammad (ﷺ), his family, that is, his pure wives and children, just as You sent mercy upon the family of Ibrahim. Surely, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious. And send Your blessings upon Muhammad (ﷺ), his family, that is, his pure wives and children, just as You sent blessings upon the family of Ibrahim. Surely, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious.
