حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ أَضْجَعَ أُضْحِيَّتَهُ لِيَذْبَحَهَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلِرَّجُلِ: " أَعِنِّي عَلَى ضَحِيَّتِي "، فَأَعَانَهُ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from an Ansari companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) laid the sacrificial animal on its side to slaughter it, he said to a man, "Assist me in the sacrifice." So that man assisted the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).
