حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ زُهَيْرِ بْنِ الْأَقْمَرِ قَالَ: بَيْنَمَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ يَخْطُبُ بَعْدَمَا قُتِلَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إِذْ قَامَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَزْدِ آدَمُ طُوَالٌ فَقَالَ: لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاضِعَهُ فِي حَبْوَتِهِ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ أَحَبَّنِي فَلْيُحِبَّهُ، فَلْيُبَلِّغِ الشَّاهِدُ الْغَائِبَ "، وَلَوْلَا عَزْمَةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا حَدَّثْتُكُمْ (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
Zuhair bin Aqmar says that once, after the martyrdom of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), Imam Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) was delivering a sermon when a tall, wheat-colored man from the tribe of Azd stood up and said: I saw the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) that he had Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) in his lap and was saying: Whoever loves me should also love him, and convey this message to those present and absent. And if the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) had not said this with certainty, I would never have narrated it to you.
