حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَسْلَمَ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِرَجُلٍ: " لَوْ قُلْتَ حِينَ أَمْسَيْتَ: أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّامَّاتِ كُلِّهِنَّ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ، لَمْ يَضُرَّكَ عَقْرَبٌ حَتَّى تُصْبِحَ " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

Waki‘ narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from a man from Aslam, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to a man: "If you say in the evening: I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah, all of them, from the evil of what He has created, no scorpion will harm you until morning."
