حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْعَالِيَةِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَمِّ نَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَبَهْزٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنِي قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عَمِّ نَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا يَنْبَغِي لِعَبْدٍ - قَالَ عَفَّانُ: عَبْدٍ لِي - أَنْ يَقُولَ: أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَتَّى " وَنَسَبَهُ إِلَى أَبِيهِ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed Zuhr in Mina on the day of at-Tarwiyah [8 Dhul-Hijjah].
