Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) came to us and called out three times, "O people! Do you know what is the example of me and you?" The people said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said, "My example and your example is like that of a person whom his people sent as a scout. When he feared that the enemy would overtake them, he began to wave his clothes to warn the people that the enemy has come upon you." Then the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "That man is me."
