Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ هُرْمُزَ الْأَعْرَجَ أَخْبَرَهُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ ابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " صَلَّى لَهُمْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ قَامَ وَلَمْ يَقْعُدْ فِيهِمَا، فَقَامَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ، فَلَمَّا صَلَّى الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الْأُخْرَيَيْنِ انْتَظَرَ النَّاسُ تَسْلِيمَهُ، فَكَبَّرَ فَسَجَدَ، ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ فَسَجَدَ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Buhaina (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) after leading two rak'ahs of the Zuhr prayer, forgot and stood up straight. Then, when he neared the end of the prayer, he performed two prostrations of forgetfulness (sahw) and, after saying salam, completed the prayer.
