حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: " الطُّهْورُ (٢) شَطْرُ الْإِيمَانِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ تَمْلَأُ الْمِيزَانَ، وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ تَمْلَأُ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ، وَالصَّلَاةُ نُورٌ، وَالصَّدَقَةُ بُرْهَانٌ، وَالصَّبْرُ ضِيَاءٌ، وَالْقُرْآنُ حُجَّةٌ لَكَ أَوْ عَلَيْكَ. كُلُّ النَّاسِ يَغْدُو، فَبَائِعٌ نَفْسَهُ فَمُعْتِقُهَا أَوْ مُوبِقُهَا " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Malik Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Cleanliness is a part of faith. Saying "Alhamdulillah" fills the scale of deeds. (Subhan Allah, Allahu Akbar) "La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar" fill the space between the heavens and the earth. Prayer is light, charity is proof, patience is brightness, and the Qur'an is an argument for you or against you. Every person starts his morning by selling himself; then either he destroys himself or he frees himself.
