حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا حَرِيزٌ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ عُبَيْدٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيمَا بَلَغَهُ دَعَا لَهُ: " اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى عُبَيْدٍ أَبِي مَالِكٍ، وَاجْعَلْهُ فَوْقَ كَثِيرٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Malik Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came to know that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) made this supplication for him: O Allah! Send Your mercy upon Ubaid Abu Malik and grant him superiority over many people.
