Translation

English translation

Someone asked Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) how the wound of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) was treated. He replied that Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) would bring water in his shield, and Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) would wash the blood from his blessed face. Then she took a mat, burned it, and filled the wound with its ashes (which stopped the bleeding).
