حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُثَنَّى، عَنِ ابْنِ أُخْتِ عُبَادَةَ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ تَشْغَلُهُمْ أَشْيَاءُ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ حَتَّى يُؤَخِّرُوهَا عَنْ وَقْتِهَا فَصَلُّوهَا لِوَقْتِهَا ". فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَإِنْ أَدْرَكْتُ مَعَهُمْ أُصَلِّي؟ قَالَ: " إِنْ شِئْتَ " (٢)، ، •
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ubada (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Soon there will come rulers who will be engrossed in many things out of heedlessness, and they will delay the prayer from its appointed time. On such occasions, you should perform the prayer at its appointed time, and then join them with the intention of offering a voluntary (nafl) prayer.
