Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ ذَكْوَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " الْأَبْدَالُ فِي هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ ثَلَاثُونَ مِثْلُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلِ الرَّحْمَنِ كُلَّمَا مَاتَ رَجُلٌ أَبْدَلَ اللهُ مَكَانَهُ رَجُلًا " (٣)، ، فِيهِ: يَعْنِي حَدِيثَ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ كَلَامٌ غَيْرُ هَذَا، وَهُوَ مُنْكَرٌ يَعْنِى حَدِيثَ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ذَكْوَانَ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ubada (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: In this Ummah, there will be thirty Abdal like Ibrahim Khalilullah (peace be upon him). Whenever one of them passes away, Allah Almighty will appoint another in his place.
