حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، وَحَدَّثَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ مَحْمُودَ بْنَ الرَّبِيعِ، الَّذِي مَجَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي وَجْهِهِ مِنْ بِئْرِهِمْ مَرَّتَيْنِ، أَخْبَرَهُ،، ، أَنَّ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ: رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا صَلَاةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) say: The prayer of that person is not valid who cannot recite Surah Al-Fatihah.
