حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَيَّاشِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " نَفَلَ فِي الْبَدَاءَةِ الرُّبُعَ، وَفِي الرَّجْعَةِ الثُّلُثَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) distributed one-fourth of the spoils of war as a reward in the villages, and upon return, he distributed one-third. Benefit: For complete explanation, see Hadith number 23142.
