حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ: أَخَذَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبَرَةً مِنْ جَنْبِ بَعِيرٍ فَقَالَ: " أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّهُ، لَا يَحِلُّ لِي مِمَّا أَفَاءَ اللهُ عَلَيْكُمْ قَدْرَ هَذِهِ إِلَّا الْخُمُسُ، وَالْخُمُسُ مَرْدُودٌ عَلَيْكُمْ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) plucked a hair from the side of a camel and said: O people! After taking out the khums, even this much from my share of the spoils of war is not lawful for me, and the khums is also returned to you.
