Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ رِوَايَةً يَبْلُغُ بِهَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا صَلَاةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: The prayer of that person is not valid who cannot recite Surah Al-Fatihah.
