Translation

English translation

Abu Salamah, may Allah have mercy on him, says that "the companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and horseman" narrated that it is reported from Abu Qatadah, may Allah be pleased with him, that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: Good dreams are from Allah and bad dreams are from Satan. Therefore, if anyone sees a disliked dream, he should not mention it to anyone, but after seeing the dream, he should spit lightly three times to his left side and seek refuge in Allah from its evil; in this way, the dream will not harm him.
