حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَامِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ أَنَّهُ: سَمِعَ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى (٢) وأُمَامَةُ ابْنَةُ زَيْنَبَ ابْنَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَهِيَ ابْنَةُ أَبِي الْعَاصِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعُزَّى عَلَى رَقَبَتِهِ، فَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَضَعَهَا، وَإِذَا قَامَ مِنْ سُجُودِهِ أَخَذَهَا فَأَعَادَهَا عَلَى رَقَبَتِهِ " فَقَالَ عَامِرٌ: وَلَمْ أَسْأَلْهُ أَيُّ صَلَاةٍ هِيَ؟ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ: وَحُدِّثْتُ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَتَّابٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ أَنَّهَا صَلَاةُ، ، الصُّبْحِ. قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: جَوَّدَهُ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I once saw the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) performing prayer in such a way that he had Umamah, the daughter of Zainab (may Allah be pleased with her), on his shoulders. Whenever the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) would stand, he would lift her up, and when he would go into bowing (ruku‘), he would put her down. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain, but in this one it is also specified that this incident took place during the Fajr prayer.
