حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعُمَيْسِ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنِ الزُّرَقِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ: " إِذَا جَلَسَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَضَعَ يَمِينَهُ عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى، وَأَشَارَ بِإِصْبَعِهِ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) sat during Tashahhud in prayer, he would place his hand on his right thigh and gesture with his finger.
