Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُسْمِعُنَا الْآيَةَ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ أَحْيَانًا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) would sometimes recite a verse aloud to us in the Zuhr and Asr prayers.
