Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: " أُنْزِلَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَرْبَعِينَ، وَكَانَ بِمَكَّةَ ثَلاثَ عَشْرَةَ، وَبِالْمَدِينَةِ عَشْرًا، فَمَاتَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلاثٍ وَسِتِّينَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"Whoever seeks protection in the Name of Allah, give him refuge, and whoever asks of you for the sake of Allah, give to him."
