Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو غَالِبٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " التَّفْلُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ سَيِّئَةٌ وَدَفْنُهُ حَسَنَةٌ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Spitting in the mosque is a sin, and mixing it into the soil is a good deed.
