Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَيْفٌ، أَخْبَرَنِي قَيْسُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الْمَكِّيُّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى بِشَاهِدٍ وَيَمِينٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that he said:
On the day of al-Khandaq, the Muslims killed a mushrik man and the mushrikeen offered money for his body. But the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Give their body back to them, for it is an evil body and an evil ransom." And he did not accept anything from them.
