حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّقِّيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ يَعْنِي أَبَا الْمَلِيحِ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي مَرْزُوقٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: " مَنْ قَدِمَ حَاجًّا، وَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ، وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ، فَقَدِ انْقَضَتْ حَجَّتُهُ، وَصَارَتْ عُمْرَةً، كَذَلِكَ سُنَّةُ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَسُنَّةُ رَسُولِهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said on the day of at-Ta'if.

“Whoever comes out to us of slaves, he is free.” So some slaves came out, among whom was Abu Bakrah, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) set them free.
