حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ امْرَأَةٌ وَمَعَهَا صَبِيٌّ لَهَا تَحْمِلُهُ وَبِيَدِهَا آخَرُ، وَلَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا قَالَ: وَهِيَ حَامِلٌ، فَلَمْ، ، تَسْأَلْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَيْئًا يَوْمَئِذٍ (١) إِلَّا أَعْطَاهَا إِيَّاهُ. ثُمَّ قَالَ: " حَامِلَاتٌ وَالِدَاتٌ رَحِيمَاتٌ بِأَوْلَادِهِنَّ، لَوْلَا مَا يَأْتِينَ (٢) إِلَى أَزْوَاجِهِنَّ دَخَلَ مُصَلِّيَاتُهُنَّ الْجَنَّةَ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a woman came to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) with her child, carrying him, to ask for something. Whatever she asked from the Prophet (ﷺ), he gave it to her. Then he said: "How merciful these mothers are to their children whom they carry! If it were not for what they do with their husbands, then their women who pray would enter Paradise."
