حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ شِمْرِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، " {نَافِلَةً لَكَ} [الإسراء: ٧٩] قَالَ: إِنَّمَا كَانَتِ النَّافِلَةُ خَاصَّةً لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding the interpretation of the Quranic verse "Nafilatan laka" that the observance of voluntary prayers (nawafil) was specific to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).
