Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The most enviable person in my view is that believing servant who has little worldly possessions, who devotes much of his time to prayer, who obeys his Lord and worships Him excellently in secret, who remains hidden from the eyes of people, towards whom fingers are not pointed, whose sustenance is just sufficient for his needs. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) repeated this phrase and began snapping his fingers, then said: His death comes quickly, his inheritance is little, and there are few to weep over him.
