حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ظَبْيَةَ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَبِيتُ عَلَى ذِكْرِ اللهِ طَاهِرًا، فَيَتَعَارَّ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَيَسْأَلُ اللهَ خَيْرًا مِنْ، ، خَيْرِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever, being in a state of ablution, goes to sleep at night while remembering Allah, then wakes up during any part of the night and asks Allah for any good of this world or the Hereafter, Allah surely grants it to him.
