حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ: كُنْتُ رَدِيفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لِي: " يَا مُعَاذُ، أَتَدْرِي مَا حَقُّ اللهِ عَلَى الْعِبَادِ؟ " قُلْتُ: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ.، ، قَالَ: " أَنْ يَعْبُدُوهُ وَلَا يُشْرِكُوا بِهِ شَيْئًا، أَتَدْرِي مَا حَقُّ الْعِبَادِ عَلَى اللهِ إِذَا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ؟ " قَالَ: قُلْتُ: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ. قَالَ: " يُدْخِلُهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he was riding behind the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) on a donkey. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) called me by name and said, "O Mu'adh! Do you know what is Allah's right upon His servants?" I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "(Allah's right upon His servants is) that they worship Him alone and do not associate anything with Him." Then the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do you know what is the right of the servants upon Allah, if they do that?" I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Their right is that Allah will admit them to Paradise."
