حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: {تَتَجَافَى جُنُوبُهُمْ، ، عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ} [السجدة: ١٦] قَالَ: " قِيَامُ الْعَبْدِ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The meaning of 'their sides forsake their beds' is that a person gets up at night for Tahajjud."
