حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا رَمْلَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ (١) بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَوْجَبَ ذُو الثَّلَاثَةِ " فَقَالَ لَهُ مُعَاذٌ: وَذُو الِاثْنَيْنِ؟ قَالَ: " وَذُو الِاثْنَيْنِ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: "For the person in whose favor three people testify, Paradise becomes obligatory for him." Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) asked, "And if there are two?" He replied, "Even if there are two, the same ruling applies."
