حَدِيثُ مَطَرِ بْنِ عُكَامِسَ (١)، • ٢١٩٨٣ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ (٢) ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْحَفَرِيُّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مَطَرِ بْنِ عُكَامِسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا قَضَى اللهُ مِيتَةَ (٣) عَبْدٍ بِأَرْضٍ، جَعَلَ لَهُ إِلَيْهَا حَاجَةً " (٤)، ، •
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Mutrib bin Akamas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: When Allah Almighty decrees death for someone in a particular place, (then love for that place is instilled in his heart and) some need of his is created there.
